Student Jared Brandon said he had been making dinner when a passer-by knocked on the window and told him the house was on fire. Brandon said he grabbed his computer and a roommate’s guitar and darted out of the house.
All occupants made it out of the house by the time crews arrived. The fire was controlled about 20 minutes later.
