BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Federal prosecutors say a north Alabama woman has pleaded guilty in a more than $550,000 tax fraud scheme.
Authorities say 49-year-old Angelique Harris of Madison pleaded guilty Wednesday to theft of government property and money laundering.
Prosecutors say Harris forfeited a luxury car worth roughly $45,000 that she bought with money she stole in the scheme.
A sentencing date has not been set for Harris.
