WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - A Williston man is accused of stabbing another man and leading police on a chase.

Twenty-three-year-old Anthony Casaus allegedly stabbed the man after a fight on July 1, then fled in a vehicle and later on foot, eluding officers in the darkness.

The Williston Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1JU1ke2 ) police tracked him to a house and arrested him. They also seized more than $13,000 in cash, silver bars, drugs and paraphernalia from the home.

Casaus faces aggravated assault, fleeing and drug charges that could put him in prison for more than 11 years if he’s convicted. Court documents don’t list an attorney for him. A home telephone number for him couldn’t be found.

Three others also face charges in the case.

Police say the stabbing victim is recovering in a Bismarck hospital.
