WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say four people fired pistols into the air and at a Williston highway in the middle of the city’s Fourth of July fireworks display.

The four have been charged with reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm within city limits. Court records say they were caught on video firing two pistols near a Williston hotel shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday.

According to court records, two men watching fireworks saw the group using the pistols. One witness called 911, while another took video of the group.

Court records say officers found multiple shell casings, as well as the guns and magazines for ammunition in one suspect’s car.

The Williston Herald (https://bit.ly/1NQqpqU ) reports the suspects were booked into the Williams County Correctional Center and posted $5,000 bond.
