DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Institute of Arts says it will provide free round-trip transportation to Oakland County residents on Aug. 1.

The museum said in a news release that buses will depart from six locations in Oakland County that morning and return in the afternoon. Locations include Troy City Hall and the Southfield Municipal Complex. Parking is available at all locations.

The free transportation and admission is being offered as part of the museum’s “County Days.” The museum says it provides the service four times a year to residents of Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.

Reservations are required. All pickup locations can be seen at the museum’s website.
