HOUSTON (AP) - A special education teacher at a middle school in the Houston Independent School District has been arrested on a charge of online solicitation of a minor.
A letter sent to parents from the Marshall Middle School Michael Harrison says Joseph Schaloff was arrested Wednesday on the campus. Harrison wrote Schaloff has been temporarily reassigned pending the outcome of an investigation.
Schaloff’s bond had been set at $30,000. He is scheduled to make a court appearance Friday.
Harris County Jail records did not have an attorney listed for Schaloff.
