NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Police have identified a woman who was killed in a wreck involving a Norfolk Fire-Rescue utility truck.
Police tell media outlets that a car driven by 73-year-old Daisy Riddick of Norfolk pulled out into the path of the truck. Riddick was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The truck’s driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The investigation is continuing.
