NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Yale University is hosting a ceremony where 501 people are expected to be sworn in as American citizens.

The candidates for citizenship represent 91 countries from Albania to Zimbabwe.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Joan Margolis is administering the oath of allegiance during the ceremony Monday morning at Woolsey Hall on the Ivy league campus. Invited guests and speakers include Yale’s president and Connecticut’s two U.S. senators.
