SPRINGDALE, Md. (AP) - Prince George’s County Police have charged a man injured during a shootout in Springdale that left a man dead.
Officers said Monday that 21-year-old Alonzo Lloyd has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 21-year-old Jeramey Williams.
Police were called to the Ardmore Neighborhood Recreation Center at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday for a report of a shooting. Officers found four men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Authorities say Williams died at a local hospital; a second man was critically hurt. Lloyd was treated and released and a fourth man suffered a graze wound.
Police say Lloyd and the second victim got into an argument with Williams, and Lloyd and Williams exchanged gunfire.
