BOISE, Idaho (AP) - The Boise Co-Op is voluntarily closing its deli after nearly 30 people tested positive for salmonella linked to eating at the grocery store.

Co-op officials announced Monday that any food purchased from the deli after June 1 should be thrown away.

The Central District Health Department is currently trying to find the source of the contamination, which is believed to have occurred between June 1 and June 7. The district found no health violations at the Boise grocery store, but sent multiple food samples from the co-op to be tested.

One Boise couple has already filed a complaint against the co-op in Idaho district court.

Symptoms of salmonella include fever, diarrhea and vomiting.
