OPELIKA, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say an Opelika man has been arrested on warrants for burglary and theft from May 30.

The Opelika-Auburn News ( ) reports 28-year-old Eddie Maddox was arrested Monday. The Auburn police division says the arrest is the result of an investigation into a burglary of a business last month. Officers were told that someone broke in and stole multiple tools and a Honda motorcycle with a combined value of more than $13,000.

Officers say they found Maddox in possession of the stolen motorcycle and a search of the vehicle resulted in several of the stolen tools being recovered.

Maddox was arrested on felony warrants charging him with third-degree burglary and first-degree theft of property. It is unclear if he has a lawyer.
