RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Richmond Police say two men have been arrested and charged in connection with a homicide last week.
WWBT-TV (https://bit.ly/1JX9mUC ) reports 19-year-old Regshawn L. Ward was taken into custody Monday by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and 20-year-old Brandon R. Townsend was arrested last Friday with the task force’s assistance. Police say both men have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder, and further charges are pending.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire on Roanoke Street June 11. When officers arrived they found 35-year-old Diego S. Brown with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unclear if Ward and Townsend have lawyers or their motive for the crime.
