CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin has announced $250,000 in grants to two organizations for substance abuse treatment programs.

The grants are part of the Justice Reinvestment Treatment Supervision program. Tomblin says the initiative aims to help those struggling with addiction return to their families, communities and jobs.

United Summit Center Inc. was awarded $180,000 for two outpatient and intensive outpatient sites in Monongalia and Randolph counties. Monongalia also will get a community engagement specialist and a recovery coach.

Jefferson County Day Report Center Inc. is getting $70,000 for two recovery coach positions that will serve residents of Berkeley, Jefferson, Mineral and Morgan counties.
