DALTON, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota State Patrol is looking for the driver of a semitrailer truck that was near a pickup that crashed on Interstate 94, killing two teenage brothers from Moorhead.

A surviving passenger told investigators that the semi-truck was “extremely close” to the pickup moments before the crash about 9:10 a.m. Tuesday near Dalton.

The Star Tribune (https://strib.mn/1J6B9AA ) reports a reconstruction of the crash supports that, according to the State Patrol.

The pickup’s driver, 18-year-old Zach Kvalvog, and his 14-year-old brother, Connor, were killed. Two other teens in the pickup were injured.

The teens were on their way to a basketball tournament in Wisconsin.

The semi-truck is described as a white box-type trailer with a green or red tractor.
