PARACHUTE, Colo. (AP) - Parachute police are investigating the death of a 4-week-old child as a homicide.

Police say they were called June 20 after a girl stopped breathing.

According to KJCT-TV (https://tinyurl.com/qh35ybv ), the Garfield County coroner has ruled the death as a homicide and the cause of death is pending further investigation.



The victim’s name is being withheld until relatives can be notified.
