BALTIMORE (AP) - The Baltimore Orioles have agreed to terms with Florida State outfielder DJ Stewart, the team’s top draft pick in the 2015 draft.

Stewart was the 25th overall pick.

The 21-year-old Stewart hit .318 with 15 homers and 59 RBIs in 64 games this season as a junior.

Orioles scouting director Gary Raisich said Stewart will report to Single-A Aberdeen on Sunday.

Stewart is a 6-foot, 225-pound, left-handed batter. He was the 2014 Atlantic Coast Conference player of the year after leading the league with a .351 batting average as a sophomore.

Raisich describes Stewart as a “blue-collar baseball player.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
