WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a small child was among six people injured in a six-vehicle crash in southern New Jersey.

Winslow Township police say the crash on Route 73 started in a northbound lane around 6:30 a.m. Monday, when a truck sideswiped a van.

The truck continued forward and collided with a Mini Cooper and a car, and the car struck another vehicle that was stopped in traffic. The impact pushed the stopped vehicle into a car that was stopped in front of it

The child and one adult were flown by helicopter to a hospital, while four adults were taken to hospitals via ambulances. Further details on their conditions were not disclosed.

No charges have been filed so far, but the investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
