HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a 31-year-old man who police say is responsible for at least four armed bank robberies within less than a week in Las Vegas and Henderson.
Henderson police spokeswoman Michelle French says Oswald David Perez of Las Vegas was arrested Sunday near the Town Square shopping center off Las Vegas Boulevard South, and a search of his home turned up evidence in the case.
No injuries were reported in the robberies between June 16 and June 20 at U.S. Bank and Chase Bank branches.
Perez is accused of displaying a gun each time and handing tellers a note demanding cash.
He’s being held at the Henderson Detention Center pending an initial court appearance on felony robbery and burglary charges.
It’s not immediately clear if he has a lawyer.
