POST FALLS, Idaho (AP) - Police in the north Idaho community of Post Falls say they arrested a woman who tried to hide heroin under a half-eaten cheeseburger in the center console of her car.

KREM-TV of Spokane, Washington, reports (https://is.gd/dyr6SG ) that police contacted the woman Monday night after someone reported a woman doing drugs in a parked car in a store parking lot.

Police say the woman grew ever more nervous, glancing at her car, as other officers and a K-9 showed up. The K-9 handler who began searching the car found food, garbage, alcohol, marijuana and something else - the half-eaten burger. Police say the K-9 officer removed the burger to make sure his detection dog did not try to eat it. The heroin container was found beneath where the burger had been.

Authorities say 32-year-old Jennifer Hollowell was arrested. KREM reports she appeared in court Tuesday. She’s been charged with felony and misdemeanor drug violations.
