CALVERTON, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a 50-year-old man is in critical condition following a hang glider accident on Long Island.
It happened around 8:20 a.m. Sunday at Enterpise Park in Calverton.
Riverhead police say details of the accident were not immediately available. But they say it appeared he either “fell or crashed.” Police say the man suffered two broken femurs. He was airlifted to Stony Brook Hospital in critical condition.
