ANACONDA, Mont. (AP) - A natural gas explosion destroyed a vacant house in the small community of Anaconda in southwest Montana.

No one was hurt in the explosion that occurred about 11:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Anaconda Police Chief Tim Barkell says the explosion caused damage to a house next door as well as shattering windows in other neighboring homes and nearby vehicles.



Anaconda is located in Deer Lodge County.
