OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - The Mississippi Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments on the campus of the University of Mississippi in April.
The court will be on the Oxford campus on April 21. The court periodically hears cases on college campuses as a teaching tool for students and the public.
At Ole Miss, a three-judge panel will hear arguments in a criminal appeal from Lauderdale County and a domestic relations case from Montgomery County.
The cases are among dozens the Appeals Court will consider during its March-April term. Decisions are expected later.
The arguments will be heard in the Moot Courtroom at the Khayat Law Center.
Law students from the Ole Miss Criminal Appeals Clinic will represent the defendants. The Mississippi attorney general’s office represents the state in the criminal case.
