SPARKS, Nev. (AP) - Washoe County sheriff’s deputies have recovered thousands of dollars’ worth of stolen property after arresting two brothers in Sparks in a series of residential and vehicle burglaries.

The sheriff says 24-year-old Jeremy Tester and 19-year-old Matthew Tester were booked into the county jail Wednesday night on multiple charges including possession of stolen property.

The arrests cap a five-month-long investigation that began with a residential burglary in the Galena area in mid-October.

Items recovered from that break-in include a Yamaha dirt bike and motorcycle gear.

Matthew Tester faces five counts of possession of stolen property and one count of possession of a stolen vehicle.

Jeremy Tester faces six counts of possession of stolen property and one count each of burglary, grand larceny and possession of a gun without a serial number.
