CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming’s unemployment rate fell to 4.0 percent in January.
The jobless rate is down from 4.2 percent in December and down from the 4.3 percent rate recorded in January 2014.
The national unemployment rate for January was 5.7 percent.
Lincoln County posted the state’s highest jobless rate in January at 6.4 percent, followed by 6.2 percent in Fremont and Johnson counties, and 5.6 percent in Park and Sheridan counties.
The lowest rates among counties were 3.5 percent in Converse, 3.6 percent in Niobrara, and 3.8 percent in Goshen, Campbell and Albany.
