TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say a knife-wielding woman died at a hospital after being shot by a police officer.

Authorities say officers went to a business on West St. Mary’s Road in response to calls of a woman behaving suspiciously Saturday night.

Police said one of the responding officers found 28-year-old Jessica Uribe and shot her when she advanced toward him while holding a knife during a confrontation outside a business.

The officer was not hurt.
