BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A Billings woman has denied federal charges that allege she embezzled over $288,000 from the car dealership where she worked.

The Billings Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1xHnubQ ) Renee Ann Zinnecker pleaded not guilty on Thursday to an indictment charging her with two counts of wire fraud.

Prosecutors allege that while Zinnecker worked as an office manager at Lithia Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge of Billings from 2005 to 2014 she embezzled cash rather than depositing it into the company’s bank account.

U.S. Magistrate Carolyn Ostby continued Zinnecker’s release without bond pending her May 11 trial.
