CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - A former Corvallis, Oregon, man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for taking sexually explicit photos of a child.

The Corvallis Gazette-Times reports (https://is.gd/Bp8ir3) 48-year-old Michael Sanders was extradited from Arizona in April 2014 after a grand jury indictment.

Court documents show Benton County Circuit Court Judge Matthew Donohue handed down the sentence. Sanders had pleaded guilty to five counts of using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct.

Sanders was released from Benton County Jail this week and transported to Coffee Creek Correctional Facility.
