TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A 29-year-old Tucson man could be sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of second-degree murder and other charges stemming from the shooting death of a Pascua Yaqui Indian Reservation resident.

Joseph Edward Camargo was convicted by a federal court jury in the 2011 killing of Rolando Thomas Garcia.

According to the indictment that led to Camargo’s conviction Tuesday, he went to Garcia’s home and provoked a fight with Garcia, who ran into his house.

The indictment says Camargo chased Garcia and then shot him three times.
