WASHINGTON (AP) - Three people have been injured on a Metro bus in Washington, D.C.
Metro spokeswoman Morgan Dye says a woman was shot in the leg on a bus in southeast Washington Friday afternoon and that two men have cuts to their hands. She says all were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.
She could not immediately explain the circumstances behind the injuries and did not immediately know whether anyone had been arrested.
The Metropolitan Police Department declined to comment.
