LAWRENCEVILLE, Va. (AP) - A Henrico County woman is heading to trial on charges of killing two infants in 1998.
Darnesha P. Berry’s trial is scheduled to begin Monday in Brunswick County Circuit Court. Berry is charged with first-degree murder, child abuse and felony murder.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1OqiOle ) reports that the infants were found dead in a trash bin at Saint Paul’s College on Feb. 16, 1998. Berry was a student at the college at the time. The school has since closed.
She was arrested in July 2013.
