BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A man is accused of using force and threats in a sexual assault on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.

Jason Meyers is charged in federal court with three counts, including aggravated sexual abuse by threat of death or serious bodily injury. He has pleaded not guilty.

Authorities say Meyers also threatened the victim about reporting the Dec. 10 incident.

Meyers was arrested last month in Montana. He was ordered to remain behind bars until trial, which is scheduled for May 19 in Bismarck.

A federal public defender could not be reached for comment.
