ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - The Mexican national soccer team is coming to central Florida to play one of a series of exhibition matches as it prepares to compete in the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

The June 27 match with Costa Rica at Orlando’s Citrus Bowl Stadium is a partnership with the Mexican national team, Soccer United Marketing, Orlando City Soccer, Orlando Venues, Florida Citrus Sports and the Central Florida Sports Commission. The appearance is Mexico’s first at the Citrus Bowl since the 1994 FIFA World Cup.

It is all part of Mexico’s 2015 U.S. Tour, which also includes a March 28 match with Ecuador in Los Angeles, March 31 match with Paraguay in Kansas City, Missouri, and July 1 match with Honduras in Houston.
