LOS ANGELES (AP) - A man with a shotgun who killed his girlfriend has died in a recorded hail of gunfire from Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies.
Twenty-eight-year-old Victor Terrazas died at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in an unincorporated section of south Los Angeles.
Deputies answering a report of an assault with a deadly weapon found the body of 32-year-old Lakeisha Lynall in an alley.
Authorities say deputies spotted Terrazas about four blocks away and shot him after he refused to drop a shotgun and fired several times at them.
Video shows the deputies firing a volley of shots into a darkened alley. No deputies were hit.
Sheriff’s officials say Terrazas and Lynall had been dating for three or four years but there’s no immediate word on what prompted her killing.
