PHOENIX (AP) - A man wanted on a 2010 warrant has been extradited to Arizona to face nearly 60 criminal charges including child prostitution and kidnapping.

Authorities say 50-year-old Derrick Gardner was previously serving time in California on other criminal charges.

He was extradited to Arizona last Saturday. It’s unclear if he has lawyer yet.

Authorities say the 57-count indictment includes multiple counts of kidnapping, sexual assault, child prostitution, sexual abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The charges also include sexual exploitation of a minor, aggravated assault involving a minor in drug offense and assault.

Authorities say the charges are tied to separate incidents that reportedly occurred in Surprise in 2008.

Surprise police say they’re preparing the criminal cases against Gardner along with prosecutors from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
