TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police have arrested a mother-son duo accused of stealing historic chalices from several Tucson churches.
Police say 55-year-old Bridget E. Baker and her son, 29-year-old Andrew W. Hoke burglarized several Catholic churches, stealing various items. That includes several chalices that were hundreds of years old.
Police cracked the case after the churches provided security video showing the duo that was aired on local TV stations.
Baker and Hoke have been charged with one count of trafficking in stolen property and three counts of third degree burglary.
