MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say the driver suspected of ramming a car into an apartment building and killing a young boy inside has been taken into custody in suburban Atlanta.
The U.S. Marshals Service said 28-year-old Juan Daniels was arrested Thursday in Gwinnett County, northeast of Atlanta.
U.S. Marshals Task Force Commander Supervisor Scott Sides told WSFA-TV Daniels’ capture is a result of a collaboration among local and federal law enforcement agencies.
Police have said 6-year-old Aiden Howard were visiting a relative in mid-February when the crash happened. Police have said an SUV crashed through a wall and fled the scene.
