GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - A retired bus driver from suburban Seattle hopes to move across the country so he can live in a Michigan home containing a massive pipe organ.

David Luttinen of Mountlake Terrace, Washington, says the 3,200-pipe church organ is the motivating factor for purchasing the bungalow. He tells The Grand Rapids Press (https://bit.ly/1wXC12N ) he and his wife plan to close their pending offer on the Grand Rapids house after they sell their current home.

The 85-year-old organ was bought in 2002 from a Muskegon church. It eventually was installed in the small home, which was expanded to accommodate pipes that reach to the top of the cathedral ceiling.

Luttinen plans to invite local musicians to recitals in the home. He’s played pipe organs as a hobby for the past 47 years.
