ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal says the state’s net tax collections are up more than 12 percent over this time last year.

Deal on Friday announced that February tax collections totaled $943.7 million, an increase of nearly $106 million compared to February 2014.

Deal said in a statement that year-to-date net tax revenue totaled $12.41 billion, an increase of about 5.8 percent compared to the previous fiscal year.
