WEST HAVEN, Vt. (AP) - Police have cleared a road after two tractor trailers crashed in the same area in the Vermont town of West Haven.

Police said the first driver lost control, left Route 22a and struck a utility pole before stopping Monday night. Utility lines were displaced and hanging low over the road.

Police said several minutes later, a second tractor trailer crashed in the same area, when the trailer struck the low-hanging utility lines and caused damage.

Both tractor trailers were removed and the road was temporarily closed.

The drivers didn’t suffer any injuries.
