ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Alaska State Troopers have arrested a 31-year-old woman accused of firing multiple rounds into a car because she thought the occupant was driving recklessly.

Alice Gray of Nikiski was arrested on a charge of attempted murder in connection with the Monday night incident. Troopers say she is in custody and the weapon was recovered.

Troopers were notified shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday that someone was being shot at as he drove near Island Lake Road in Nikiski.

Responding officers canvassed the area. Troopers say the suspect was identified as Gray.

According to troopers, Gray said she fired multiple rounds at the vehicle as it passed because she thought the motorist was driving recklessly. No one was injured in the incident.

It’s unclear if Gray has an attorney.
