SECAUCUS, N.J. (AP) - A delivery truck driver was killed when his vehicle overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike.

State police say the truck overturned around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in a southbound lane near the Interchange 17E ramp in Secaucus.

The driver, 38-year-old Christian Hennessy of Woodcliff Lake, was alone in the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Authorities say it did not appear that any other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The crash caused travel delays in the area for most of the morning.
