CHESTER, S.C. (AP) - An 18-year-old Chester gang member has pleaded guilty to murder in the shooting death of 16-year-old youth following an altercation in Chester last summer.
The Herald of Rock Hill reports (https://bit.ly/1J9J80M) that Robert Isaiah Graham entered the plea on Tuesday in Chester County Court. He faces from 30 years to life in prison and will be sentenced later.
Graham had told police earlier that was on the run from probation agents and knew he was going to prison at the time he shot and killed Shyheim Kennedy.
Prosecutors say the shooting, a block from the Chester Police Department, followed an argument between Roundtree Circle gang members and a group of other young men.
