MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) - A Muncie man faces battery and criminal confinement charges for allegedly biting and burning his girlfriend during a series of attacks spanning three months.

Twenty-one-year-old Eric Harrold Vorhees was arrested Friday on preliminary charges of criminal confinement, battery resulting in bodily injury, domestic battery and public intoxication. He remained jailed Tuesday on a $13,500 bond.
