Man critically wounded in shooting outside internet cafe

PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police are investigating a shooting that occurred outside an internet cafe.

Sgt. Trent Crump says a man was outside the business at about 3:40 a.m. Tuesday when he was approached by three other men. Crump says there was “an exchange of words” and that one of the three men then shot the man.

Crump says the victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition and that the three men fled.
