MANCHESTER, Conn. (AP) - Police say about two dozen students have been checked for minor injuries after a school bus collided with a car on Interstate 384 in Connecticut.

The crash was reported around 4 p.m. Tuesday on the westbound side of the highway in Manchester. A third car also was involved.

Authorities said the bus was headed from Bolton Elementary School to East Hartford.

Fire officials said the students were taken to hospitals for treatment of minor injuries or as a precaution. Two adults and a child from the cars also were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
