More than 40 tires slashed on vehicles in Lehigh Acres spree

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. (AP) - More than 40 tires were slashed on 20 vehicles over the course of one night in Lehigh Acres.

The News-Press of Fort Myers (https://newspr.es/1PEa4FR ) reports the tires were slashed around an intersection overnight Friday. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls Saturday morning as residents awoke to find the damage.

Officers say video surveillance from several businesses may have caught images of the vandals. The case is still ongoing.
