SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Police say they have arrested a Salt Lake City day care worker accused of sexually abusing at least three children he was babysitting at the time.

Mark Timothy Nigh was arrested Saturday and faces felony charges of sodomy and sexual abuse.

The 57-year-old works at his wife’s in-home day care business.

Police told the Desert News (https://bit.ly/1dZq9uj) that Tammie Nigh Daycare is licensed by the state and has been in business for 16 years. The newspaper reports the charges involve Nigh’s actions on three different occasions with three girls ages 2 and 3.

Reached by phone Tuesday, Nigh’s son Sam says his family is in as much shock as everyone else and asks for privacy. Mark Nigh does not have an attorney.
