MILFORD, Del. (AP) - Milford police say a Texas man has been arrested and charged with raping two young girls over the course of nearly a year.

Detective Dwight Young tells The News Journal (https://delonline.us/1ctryYL ) that 61-year-old Francisco Ysaguirre was arrested in Wilmington with help from the U.S. Marshals Service and Wilmington police.

Investigators say Ysaguirre was living in Milford when he forced two young girls under the age of 12 to engage in sexual acts on numerous occasions. Young says the girls were abused from May 2014 to March 2015. The victims told relatives, and they alerted police.

Ysaguirre faces more than 20 charges, including seven counts of rape. He is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on bail of more than $1 million. An attorney for Ysaguirre could not immediately be identified.
