MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Likely presidential candidate Scott Walker has tweeted a picture of him shaking hands with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Walker is in Isreal as part of a trip organized by his political committee formed in advance of an expected presidential run. Walker is not releasing a daily itinerary for the trip, or allowing reporters to attend any of the meetings which he is not announcing in advance.

Walker had said last week he planned to meet with Netanyahu.

Walker tweeted a picture Tuesday thanking Netanyahu for the meeting and saying “Our democracies share common values & work to confront shared threats.”

The Israeli trip is slated to end Thursday. Walker is scheduled to speak at the Wisconsin Republican Party convention Saturday before heading to Iowa for a state GOP event.
