FAIRFAX, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say one student has been injured in a school bus crash in Fairfax.

Police say the bus was carrying 10 students from the Georgia Elementary School on Wednesday morning when it went off the road and landed on its side.

The bus driver and students exited the vehicle before emergency personnel arrived. Police say one student was taken to the University of Vermont Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is being investigated. Police say there’s no indication that speed, alcohol or any medical condition contributed to the accident.
